The flexible brick slips are made out of the highest quality raw materials. These raw materials are continuesly controlled in our own laboratory. Approxematily 92% of the flexible brick slip is a mixture of specially sorted quarzsands. The basicrender is being coloured trough-and-trough with a liquidcolour which is UV resistent. This liquidcolouring guarantees the colour of the brick slips. The bouding of the raw materials is being realised with a high quality poly-acrylic render.

Where to apply
- On every dry, clean and solid surface.
- For light and re-usable dividing walls.
- Where a real brick-look is wanted.
- On insulation systems (outside quality only).
Application
- Surface:
The surface must be solid, dry, clean and free of all grease. Surfaces wich are made out of sands (for example cement, concrete or plaster) must be prepared first with a primer.
- Adhesive:
Important: Apply the thin brick slips only with the joining adhesive for getting the perfect result. Always start on the topside of the surface/wall.
The adhesive must be applied with a 4 mm. applicator. Never more than you can handle within 10 minutes (max 1 m²) so no skin can form whilst you work.
- Thin Brick Slips:
First set out the area in which they are to be applied. Mark the height of every row. Carefully embed the brick slips into the adhesive. Be sure that the brick slips are levelled, check this with for example a cord.
- Joints:
Because of the small thickness, no special joint works are required. Smooth the joints with a damp paintbrush (10-12 mm. wide). Embed the brick slips firmly into the adhesive. Ensure that they are offset and no moisture can get behind the already applied brick slips.
Package
- Each carton contains enough for 1 m² surface
Temperature resistance
- Interior & Exterior use : -35 °C up to 100 °C
- Interior use only : 0 °C up to 100 °C
Important
- The horizontal joints and the vertical joints must be 10-12 mm. wide. Smaller joints will need more bricks per m².
- Always start on the top-side of the wall.
- Be sure that the rows are levelled.
- Please do always take the brick slips at random from different cartons to get a uniform finished appearance of the colors.
- Please be sure if the surface can be used to apply the thin brick slips, make a test first.
- Never use thin brick slips in open fire-places.
- Always keep min. 15 cm. space between the brick slips and any heating facilities.
- Small differences in colour and structure are to be expected by later buys, because of the use of natural material (special sands).
- After application the surface has to be protected against rain for 5-7 days minimum.
- Never apply the thin brick slips at temperatures below +5 °C.
- The customer always has to check if the surface is correct on which the brick slips are to be applied on.
